2. Nature of the Website and how orders work
The Website showcases our stationery and office supply products and pricing for information purposes. At present, orders are not placed through an automated online checkout; instead, you submit an enquiry or order request (for example, via a contact form or by emailing sales@bvoffice.co.za), and we confirm availability, final pricing, and delivery details with you directly by email or telephone before your order is confirmed.
No contract of sale is formed until we have confirmed your order in writing (including by email) and, where applicable, received payment in accordance with our agreed terms. Prices and product availability displayed on the Website are indicative and subject to confirmation at the time of your order.
3. Prices and payment
- All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) and, unless stated otherwise, are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
- We reserve the right to correct pricing errors on the Website at any time, and to confirm final pricing with you before an order is processed.
- Payment terms (e.g. EFT, invoice, or other method) will be confirmed with you directly, as the Website does not currently process online payments.
- Delivery fees, where applicable, will be communicated to you before your order is confirmed. We currently offer free delivery within a 35km radius of our premises, with courier fees applicable outside that radius, as indicated on the Website from time to time.
4. Delivery
We will make reasonable efforts to deliver your order within the timeframe communicated to you. Delivery times are estimates only and not guaranteed. Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery to the address you provide. Please ensure delivery details you supply are accurate and complete; we are not responsible for delays or non-delivery caused by incorrect information provided by you.
5. Returns, refunds, and your rights under the Consumer Protection Act
Where you are a consumer as defined in the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 ("CPA"), you have certain rights, including in relation to goods that are defective, unsafe, or not fit for the purpose for which they were sold, and, where applicable, rights relating to orders concluded electronically. Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any right you have under the CPA that cannot lawfully be excluded.
If you wish to return an item or request a refund or exchange, please contact us at sales@bvoffice.co.za within a reasonable time of receiving your order, quoting your order details. We will assess each request in line with applicable consumer protection law and our reasonable business practice.
